VLink Accelerates Digital Transformation for Leading Energy Company with Record-Breaking IBM BAW & FileNet Upgrades

VLink's partnership with a prominent energy company in India has achieved remarkable success through the exceptional efforts of its development and support team. Recently, this major industry player recognized VLink's tech resources for their pivotal role in upgrading BPM and ECM-based platforms as part of current engagements.

In a groundbreaking achievement, VLink's team completed a dual upgrade of IBM BAW and IBM FileNet for Prod and Non-Prod environments in just 2 months —a project typically taking 6 to 8 months.

The upgrade in the Prod environment for 20 BPM and FileNet Windows and Linux servers was completed in 15 hours, including regression testing and additional activities like vulnerability fixes. 
This remarkable feat was accomplished by a dedicated team of two BAW Developers, a BAW SME, a database (IBM DB2) SME, a Filenet SME, and an L1-L2 Support Engineer.

This planned upgrade will help the company with future challenges and opportunities, providing better customer experiences with improved content management and analytics and helping with compliance and regulatory requirements.
