VLink and ACORD co-hosted an Insurance industry event titled ACORD meets Agile held at the University of Illinois in Chicago, IL on March 23, 2017.
Attendees included executives from various insurance and financial services organizations that have either adopted Agile or are in the very early stages of Agile development.
The event was kicked off by Dennis Williams, SVP Sales & Marketing, VLink. Dennis Williams welcomed all participants and provided an overview of VLink. Following that, Bill Pieroni, CEO of ACORD, shared his perspective on the impact of digitization in the insurance industry.

Sales executives will now be able to take orders more efficiently, view detailed genuine parts information, check stock, collect feedback and payment, and synchronize data to the cloud.
The app provides a significant increase in functionality to include: synchronizing real-time data in online and offline modes, an easy order placement process, an improved user interface and improvements in response time for customers. Moreover, the app acts as an assistant to sales executives by helping increase the sales for genuine spare parts.
Other benefits of the Auto Parts Smart Sales application include increased productivity, ease of navigation, efficient loading of data and cloud backup. Most importantly, our client maintains minimum inventory by capturing material details into the database.
